Texas A&M University–Central Texas will host its Summer 2024 Cybersecurity Camp, specifically tailored for high school and middle school students interested in the field of cybersecurity. The camp will be held at the university campus, 1001 Leadership Place in Killeen, and is hosted by the Subhani Department of Computer Information Systems.
The program is scheduled in two sessions: the Beginner Camp from June 10-14 and the Advanced Camp from June 24-28, 2024. Each session will run from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. daily, allowing students of different skill levels to engage deeply with cybersecurity concepts and practices tailored to their experience levels.
Participants will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge of cyberspace and explore various cybersecurity careers under the guidance of faculty and other experts in the field.v
Registration is free of charge through www.tamuct.edu/cybercamp. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to enter a drawing for laptop computers, adding an extra layer of excitement to the educational benefits.
