University Police

Welcome to the Texas A&M University -Central Texas Police Department's website. This site has been created to keep the University community – students, faculty, staff, families and visitors - informed of current law enforcement and security issues at TAMUCT, as well as, information on parking rules and regulations, campus parking map and other useful information.

The University Police Department is established by Texas State Law, Texas Education Code 51.203, and Texas A&M University System Board of Regents that consists of a Chief of Police and other full and part-time officers and non-sworn employees.

We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and protection to the campus community. One of our goals is to maintain a safe learning and working environment for everyone on campus. Additionally, the University Police Department is committed to educating the campus community on personal protection and crime awareness.

To help us accomplish our goals, we encourage students, faculty, staff and visitors to be alert, take appropriate safety precautions, and safeguard their property and report any crime or suspicious activity that occurs on campus to the University Police Department. Working together we can achieve our goals and improve the quality of life for everyone on campus.

Report a Crime

Contact information for reporting an alleged crime. Contact any of the following authorities, 24 hours a day:

Report an Incident, Accident or Safety Concern

Anyone may report an incident, accident or safety concern. You do not have to be an employee to use this link and submit a report.

  2. On that page select the "First Report of Injury of Illness" link.
  3. On the next page select the "Submit a new Incident" button, no login or password is required.
