Dr. Abhijit Kumar Nag received tenure and was promoted to Associate Professor of Subhani Department of Computer Information Systems.
Dr. Nag submitted a competitive grant proposal to the Texas A&M Semiconductor Institute (TSI). Dr. Nag is the representative of Texas A&M University-Central Texas to the semiconductor research for the system collaboration.

She also received a scholarship to attend the CRA Early Career Mentoring workshop.
Dr. Piyush Vyas presented two papers at the AMCIS 2023 conference. In addition, he published a co-authored journal article in IEEE Access (Q1 Journal). Another paper was published in the Journal of Computer Information Systems related to recent advancements in ML for Cybercrime prediction. Two journal articles were also co-authored by Dr. Lavanya Elluri of the Subhani Department of Computer Information Systems.

Dr. Shuyang Gu published a paper in the Journal of Theoretical Computer Science, which is ranked #6 in the area of theoretical computer science.

Dr. Rahul Dwivedi published one journal article (22 June 2023) in the Journal of Computer Information Systems, which has a 9% acceptance rate as per Cabell’s list. It is also ranked as A journal in ABDC journal ranking.
He also published another journal in the Journal of Information Management Data Insights (November 2023). [cite score: 14.7]. He also published another peer-reviewed conference paper in the International Association of Computer Information Systems.
