Walter Murphy Profile

Walter Murphy works in the Division of Research and Innovation, where he holds roles as the Deputy Chief Research Officer, the Research Compliance Officer, and the Empowered Official. He also serves on the planning team for the university research park. He teaches part-time in the Department of Counseling and Psychology, and his current research relates to cognitive and perceptual psychology and to aspects of virtual/augmented reality in education and research; for the latter research he is a co-PI on two grants. He is also the Director and a Faculty Fellow for the University Center for Applied Research and Engagement (UCARE).
