Dr. Lavanya Elluri is an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems at the Texas A&M University-Central Texas. She received a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She has worked for over a decade in the IT industry at reputed companies Infosys and REI Systems. She has led several projects at REI Systems and has extensive work experience with various databases and data warehousing technologies. She also has experience working on a wide range of data science and data analytics projects. Her research interests include Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Semantic Web, Data privacy and Security, Text Mining, and Healthcare IT systems. Her research publications appeared in reputed venues such as IEEE Big Data, IEEE Cloud, IEEE Access, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. She is the principal investigator on the National Science Foundation (NSF) Research grant for $170,062. She has experience in teaching Information Systems, Data Analytics, Advanced Database Management and Programming Languages.
