Dr. Ran Li is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. She received her Ph.D. in Accounting from The University of Scranton in 2022 and joined the Department of Accounting and Finance at Texas A&M University - Central Texas the same year. Dr. Li received her Master of Accounting from Robert Morris University. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over ten years and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) since 2014. Before joining TAMUCT, Dr. Li had six years of teaching experience at SUNY Canton and ten years of auditing/tax industry experience. She has the experience of leading the IRS VITA tax program and continues to sit on boards in several not-for-profit organizations.
