Dr. Shalini Saini

As an Assistant Research Scientist (Cybersecurity) at the Center of Cybersecurity Innovation (CCI) within Texas A&M University - Central Texas, my passion lies in advancing knowledge in technology and cybersecurity through rigorous research. Experienced in diverse research projects, both collaboratively and independently. I embrace challenges as opportunities for personal growth and continuous learning.

I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, and possess an MS in Computer Science from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In addition, I have a strong academic and professional background in Computer Applications and Electronics Engineering.

Professionally, I have had the privilege of working with industry leaders in Electronics Engineering and Computer Hardware manufacturing. As my career progressed, I transitioned into Software Development and Network/Web Application Security. Leading the Programming/Research Core at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Department of Medicine, I collaborated closely with physicians and researchers to identify opportunities for advancing healthcare through scientific research and technological innovations.

I am interested in multidisciplinary research contributing to Cybersecurity, Healthcare, and Computer Science Education.
