Jason Miller earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Texas A&M University – Central Texas. His research interests include culturally and linguistically diverse students’ performance on literacy-intensive assessment items in history education; teacher education; cooperating teachers and university supervisors; teacher retention; and relationships between teachers. Dr. Miller’s recent publications have appeared in Teaching and Teacher Education, The Elementary School Journal, Social Studies Research and Practice, and The Journal of Social Studies Research.
