2025-2026 FAFSA Information!
The 2025–26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is now available. You can complete the form to apply for financial aid for attendance at college or career school between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.

What is Financial Aid
Financial aid consists of institutional, state and federal funds intended to help students pay educational-related expenses including tuition and fees, room and board, supplies, etc. Each year when you submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you are applying for federal, state and university aid. There are two types of financial aid offered at Texas A&M University–Central Texas, grants and student loans. If you need additional funding to supplement your financial aid package, alternative student loans are an option. The types of awards offered to you are based on your and your family's financial resources, as well as the availability of funds.
Priority Dates
To receive maximum consideration for financial aid, your FAFSA and all requested and required documentation (including appropriate electronic data exchange) must be received by the institution prior to April 15 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Deadlines
Applicants are responsible for the timeliness and promptness of their applications. Your FAFSA and all required documentation must be received in a timely manner for your aid to be processed and disbursed on or before the payment deadline.
