Summer 2021 Graduation Livestream

Commencement ceremonies will be 7 pm Friday, August 13, at Bill Yowell Conference Center in Warrior Hall

Commencement Ceremony Date, Times & Plans

The safety and well-being of your family, friends, and loved-ones is a top priority for all of us. In an effort to host a gathering that will meet public health standards, we have developed a "rolling" graduation ceremony. A rolling ceremony differs from a traditional seated program, with you and your guests entering the facility at the same time for an individual moment of celebratory recognition for your achievement. Your name will be called as you walk across the stage, and receive your diploma cover. You will have a similar photo opportunity with the president and expressions of congratulations!

After you cross the stage, you and your guests will reunite and safely exit the facility. This graduation format allows for us to provide a commencement experience to our students, while maintaining guidelines set forth by the Center of Disease Control. Please keep in mind that the planning for this event is based on current state and local guidelines and are subject to change.

Your name card will be given to you during orientation on August 12. You will be required to bring it with you to the ceremony.

Ceremonies will be held at 7 pm Friday, August 13, at Bill Yowell Conference Center in Warrior Hall

We ask that you review and follow the following guidelines:

  • Please arrive at your designated report time with your guests. You and your guests will need to enter the venue at the same time.
  • If you or your guests require assistance with walking or going down stairs, please let us know, so we can have a seat available in the front hallway. This event will consist solely of standing and walking.
  • This event will be live streamed.
  • Once you cross the stage, you will receive your diploma cover, a picture will be taken, and then you will proceed to the exit.
  • If you are a veteran attending the ceremony, and have not received a veteran stole or Salute cord please contact Joseph Wilkerson at j.wilkerson@tamuct.edu.
  • Graduation Regalia will be required, and can be purchased from the Hanik Bookstore.
