Texas A&M University–Central Texas Continues to Expand Master’s Offerings

KILLEEN, TX – Master’s degree holders earn nearly 20% more annually than their counterparts with bachelor’s degrees, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In response to the increasing demand for higher education, Texas A&M University–Central Texas is expanding its graduate programs to provide students with enhanced knowledge, personal growth opportunities, and accelerated career success.

Students now have access to a growing variety of graduate degrees designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s workforce. Many of these programs feature fully online or hybrid courses to accommodate the demanding schedules of working professionals.

Graduates of A&M-Central Texas bachelor’s programs are eligible to take advantage of the university’s streamlined application process with a free, one-page application for eligible programs. Moreover, for those with prior graduate-level coursework, the university accepts up to 12 transfer credits, provided they align with the desired program. Advisors can guide applicants in determining which courses qualify into their chosen field of study.

Students with a GPA of 1.5-1.99 may qualify for conditional admission. Conditional students take the same courses as their peers and access identical resources, earning full admission by maintaining a 3.0 GPA in their first four classes.

  • Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
  • Master of Science (MS) in Homeland Security
  • Master of Science (MS) in Information Systems

Prospective students can begin the admission process by completing an application on ApplyTexas, ensuring all required materials, such as official transcripts verifying degree conferral and academic standing, are submitted directly to admissions@tamuct.edu.

For applicants transferring from other institutions, the university requires eligibility for re-enrollment, along with final transcripts.
