It's time to vote!

You can help name the A&M-Central Texas Warrior! All current students, alumni, employees, and A&M-Central Texas friends are welcomed to vote for the name.

Here are the top names identified by a committee of students and faculty. As you consider your vote, remember the words most associated with being a Warrior at A&M-Central Texas are Strength, Honor and Excellence.

• Kelley
  The nominators suggested this name in honor of an alumnus and current employee who developed the first physical representation of the Warrior into a costume. The alumnus has regularly appeared at university and community events dressed as "The Warrior."
• Pathfinder
  The committee was intrigued by this option due to the ways in which our students are Pathfinders in their own lives and have had to find and forge a path toward their education.
• Honor
  Honor was identified as one of the highest student-rated values representing A&M-Central Texas. Honor is a value all warriors should hold dear.

Voting is available from 12 am on October 18 through 11:59 pm on October 29.

Students and alumni* who suggest the winning mascot name will receive a class ring as well as special recognition at the unveiling event.

Employees and friends of the university with the winning nomination will receive special recognition at the unveiling event. Employees and friends of the university are not eligible for a class ring.

*Alumni shall include those who graduated from previous institutions, Tarleton/A&M-Central Texas, University of Central Texas, and American Technological University.
