Killeen, Texas – When most people think of university professors, they conjure images of traditional classrooms where students gather and engage with the nation’s best and brightest scholars encouraging new generation of teachers, businesspeople, scientists, writers and historians.
And while that image is still accurate, A&M-Central Texas faculty and staff are doing even more: they will be contributing what they know from their respective disciplines to help inform the 2020 election outcomes.
Dr. Karen Clos, A&M-Central Texas spokesperson, applauded KXXV Channel 25 for the unique opportunity, emphasizing expertise in numerous areas relevant to the election.
“Just like any truly great team, our bench is deep with talent,” she said.
“Every member of the faculty is an expert in their field, committed to our students, and equally committed to being of service to the community outside the University. This gives them an extraordinary chance to demonstrate that their knowledge is applicable in a relevant, real-word way and serve the community at the same time.”
