As a seasoned university professor at Texas A&M University-Central Texas in Killeen, Jody Fry has seen trends come and go. But, as a practitioner and a researcher, he knows how to recognize an opportunity when he sees one.

So, in the summer of 2015, when a colleague offered him the opportunity to present at a conference in the United Kingdom, he graciously accepted the invitation.
