Re: President’s Announcement of a System-wide Ban on Vaping and E-Cigarettes
As a number of you may already be aware, Chancellor John Sharp has placed a mandatory ban on vaping and the use of e-cigarettes across The Texas A&M University System, including “. . . every building, outside space, parking lot, garage and laboratory . . .” at the System’s eleven state universities and eight state agencies.
Each university president and agency director has been given a short time to prepare, and today we are officially implementing the ban at Texas A&M University–Central Texas. So although it may take us several weeks to post appropriate signage across the campus, please remember that the ban goes into effect today.
